Shah Rukh Khan and son Aryan Khan coming together on the screen is probably something every SRK fan ever wanted and the wish has been granted. The father-son duo recently featured together in the commercial of a clothing brand which has been ‘established’ by Aryan. The video not only has Aryan showcasing his acting skills, but he has also directed the video.
The over-a-minute-long TVC begins with Aryan scribbling some words on a blackboard and striking them off in frustration. He first writes ‘Timeless’, then strikes it off. He then comes up with the word ‘Quintessential’ but doesn’t look happy with that too. In frustration, he walks away by leaving a stroke in red with a paintbrush. Dressed in blue denim and a black jacket, he looks just as dashing as his superstar father.
Moments later, Shah Rukh appears on the screen with intriguing music playing in the background. He picks up the paintbrush and gives a close glance at the blackboard. He then makes a ‘x’ on the board completing the name of the brand and walks away with a smile.
The video has been produced by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The description of the video reads, “D’YAVOL X is a limited release streetwear brand, established by Aryan Khan, Leti Blagoeva and Bunty Singh as part of the multi-category D’YAVOL luxury collective. This short reveal video serves as an origin story of the ‘X’. It features both Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan and is the directorial debut of the latter.”
The viewers were left surprised by Shah Rukh and Aryan’s appearance together. One of the comments on the video read, “Aryan and Srk collaborating was really unexpected ❤.” Another wrote, “Both father and son looks stunning and the bgm also powerful.” One of the fans added, “And seeing them in one video it made my day ❤️.”
Shah Rukh, Suhana Khan and Gauri Khan had been promoting Aryan’s directorial debut for the last couple of days. This is the first time that Aryan, who plans to make a career in filmmaking, has been credited as a director. Next, he will be directing a web series, which he has also written.
