Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit fulfilled the dreams of their ’90s fans as they reunited to dance on their hit song “Koi Ladki Hai” from the iconic film Dil To Pagal Hai. A video of their practice session from the IIFA 2025 stage has recently gone viral on social media. The two are set to perform together at the IIFA 2025 Awards, which will take place on Sunday at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC).
In the clip, Shah Rukh, dressed in an all-black outfit, and Madhuri, looking stunning in a black-and-white ensemble, recreate the iconic hook step of “Koi Ladki Hai”. Just like in the original music video, the background dancers include children, who match steps with the legendary duo, making the performance even more nostalgic.
Fans couldn’t stop gushing over Shah Rukh and Madhuri’s electrifying performance. One fan wrote, “These people are not aging!” Another commented, “We just love their ’90s bond, missing those nostalgic vibes. 😌❤️”
Shah Rukh Khan arrived in Jaipur on Friday to attend the IIFA Awards, where he was welcomed by a massive crowd of fans at Jaipur Airport. As Bollywood’s Baadshah stepped out, the crowd erupted in excitement. Before getting into his car, the Chak De India actor paused to greet his fans, waving and blowing kisses.
Ahead of the award night, Shah Rukh’s manager, Pooja Dadlani, shared a new photo of the superstar, relaxing at Jaipur’s Hyatt Place. In the caption, she wrote, “Hi Jaipur 👋 See you all tomorrow at @iifa.”
IIFA 2025 will also see Kartik Aaryan making his debut as a host, marking the first time he will take on the responsibility of anchoring the awards night.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki (2023). He is now gearing up for his next film, King, which will also star his daughter, Suhana Khan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is set to go on floors in March 2025 and will be released globally in 2026.
