Shah Rukh Khan channels his 90s avatar, rehearses to DDLJ, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai songs on stage for awards show. Watch

Shah Rukh Khan will be hosting Filmfare Awards on Saturday night in Ahmedabad, and the actor rehearsed for his dance numbers on stage a day prior.

Shah Rukh Khan is set to host the latest edition of the Filmfare Awards on Saturday. The actor arrived in Ahmedabad late last night, where the awards will be held at EKA Arena. As soon as SRK landed in the city, he headed to the venue for a rehearsal and videos from the same have been floating on social media since last night.

The videos circulating online have Shah Rukh rehearsing on some of his most popular songs from the 90s, which he hasn’t done in a while. The actor was seen rehearsing on “Ladki Badi Anjani Hai” from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and “Tujhe Dekha Toh” from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge on the stage. Fans were gathered outside the venue to catch a glimpse of the star.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in a cameo in his son Aryan Khan’s debut web series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, which was also produced by SRK. The actor hasn’t appeared in any film since 2023’s Dunki. He is currently shooting for Siddharth Anand’s King, which also stars Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Jackie Shroff, and Anil Kapoor.

While fans are yet to watch any teaser for the film, it has been speculated that teh film’s release date or poster might get launched on King Khan’s borthday, on November 2.
