Revisiting the culture and the tradition of Uttar Pradesh, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda’s Shaadi Mei Zaroor Aana once again brings the flavour of Lucknow to the silver screen. After revealing the first poster of his ‘different’ wedding experience on Monday, Rajkummar Rao has now shared the trailer of the movie.
In the almost three minutes long trailer, we see Rajkummar aka Satyendra Mishra as the boy-next-door and Kriti Kharbanda in the role of a middle-class girl Aarti Shukla. The two meet each other for the first time in a typical arranged marriage setup and gradually fall for each other. Just when you are smiling at the thought of them getting married, there comes a twist. Kriti abandons Rajkummar on the day of their wedding.

What follows next is revenge taking over love. This time Rajkummar is determined to take revenge on Kriti for his broken heart. Now what would be interesting to see on November 10 when the movie hits the theaters is whether, like any other Bollywood romantic movie, this one too will have a happy ending or will Kriti pay for what she did. Amidst all the drama, one thing is for sure, like any other wedding-themed movie, this one too will have some ear-soothing tracks.
Directed by Ratna Sinha, the movie has Rajkummar sharing the screen space with Raaz 4 fame Kriti for the first time. With his latest release Newton, being selected as India’s official entry to the Oscars 2018 and going strong at the box office, Rajkummar has raised the expectations from this one.
