Actor Sanya Malhotra, who is basking in the success of Jawaan and Sam Bahadur, recently shared inside glimpses of her sister, Shagun’s wedding. Sanya shared pictures from her sister’s bidaai and shared how she was the “dulhan ki emotional sister” (the bride’s emotional sister).
Taking to Instagram, Sanya posted a few pictures from various rituals from Shagun’s wedding ceremony that took place over the weekend, and wrote, “Dulhan ki emotional sister 🥹💞 @shagunn23 ✨💞 I love you too much 💞.”
Sanya’s brother-in-law Achin Jain reacted to Sanya’s post by taking to its comments section and pasted three teary eyed emoticons, Shagun wrote, “I love u saaaaaanu 😘😘😘😘😘😘 @sanyamalhotra_ you are the BESTEST.”
Sanya was seen grooving to Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express song “1 2 3 4 Get On The Dance Floor” at Shagun’s sangeet ceremony. The videos from the sangeet surfaced on social media and her fans and followers poured a lot of love for her and her sister. Take a look:
Sanya’s elder sister Shagun tied the knot with producer Achin Jain in a dreamy ceremony on Saturday. Achin Jain is the co-producer of the Oscar-winning documentary, The Elephant Whisperers. Sharing a heartwarming picture of the newlyweds, Sanya Malhotra wrote, “Love and only love, didi and Jija ji.”
On the work front, Sanya portrayed the role of Silloo Manekshaw, the wife of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, in her latest release, Sam Bahadur. Directed by Meghna Gulzar and featuring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Before that Sanya was seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, where she essayed the role of Dr Eeram. Sanya will next be seen in Mrs, which is reportedly the Hindi remake of Malayalam superhit The Great Indian Kitchen.
