Emotional scenes were witnessed in court number 43 as Salman Khan arrived wearing his favourite blue checkered shirt sharp at 1.30 pm to receive the Bombay High Court’s verdict in the 2002 hit and run case. The superstar drove all the way from ND studio at Karjat where he was shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Sultan’.

Waiting inside the jam packed courtroom were his family members sister Alvira, brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma and manager Reshma Shetty. Outside there was a humongous crowd including lawyers, court staff, litigants who were waiting to catch a glimpse of Salman.

As Salman Khan stood up to receive his verdict, the judge announced acquitted and one could see Salman Khan getting overwhelmed and his eyes getting moist.
