Salman Khan asks Shehnaaz Gill to ‘move on’ after Sidharth Shukla’s death, chides netizens for trending SidNaaz: ‘This is all nonsense’

Salman Khan said even Sidharth Shukla would have wanted Shehnaaz Gill to get married and have children. He told her to listen to her heart and not pay heed to trends such as 'SidNaaz'.

Actor Salman Khan recently graced The Kapil Sharma Show along with some of his Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan cast members. While the episode was largely an entertainer, things got a little serious when Salman brought up the topic of late TV star Sidharth Shukla.

Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill were said to share a deep bond, and had grown close during their time together on the sets of Bigg Boss 13. The actor’s sudden death left everyone in shock, and Shehnaaz was seen inconsolable post the unfortunate incident, disappearing from the public eye for almost two months before resuming her work duties.

Salman said Shehnaaz has every right to move on after Sidharth’s death, and the netizens should support that instead of always trying to pin her down with the late actor. As he was saying this, Shehnaaz looked a bit vulnerable, while Kapil wore a serious look.

Aur yeh jitney bhi Sidnaaz karte hai inmein se kisi ek ko chunliya toh vo abhi kahega, ‘haan mai tumhara hun’. Toh kya bakwas baatien hai ye, kisi ki sunna nahi, sirf apne dil ki suno and move on in life (These people on social media are always trying to pin her down with Sidharth when he himself would like to see her happy and move on in life, get married and have children. Will she stay single for the rest of her life? You should not listen to anyone but your heart and move on),” said the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actor.

As the clip began circulating on social media, fans sided with Khan and supported his stand with one writing, “Omgg he spoke the truth like a pro.” Another mentioned, “True Salman sir.” Yet another comment read, “Bhai being a protective Father.”

On the work front, Shehnaaz Gill will soon be seen in the Salman Khan film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. She also has the untitled Rhea Kapoor production venture in the pipeline.
