Actor Saif Ali Khan was discharged and returned home on Tuesday after the brutal attack in the wee hours of January 16. However, before leaving the hospital, Saif met the auto driver, Bhajan Singh, who rushed him to the hospital after he was attacked. As per reports, he was grieviously injured and accompanied by son Taimur and staff.

Now, a video of the auto driver narrating his meeting with the actor has surfaced online. He said Saif Ali Khan had personally called him on the day of discharge and requested to meet him.

As per reports, he was asked to reach the hospital at 3:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon. All his family members were present there who greeted me and expressed gratefulness. They said, ‘Thank you’. His mom was present and I think even his children. I don’t recognise them by face as much.’

He said that when they reached Lilavati Hospital, there was a guard standing at the entrance. It was only then that he realised who was in his auto. “He (Saif) said, call him (the guard) quickly, ‘Main Saif Ali Khan hoon (I am Saif Ali Khan)’. A stretcher was brought, and he got on it,” he said.
