Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the much-anticipated film directed by Karan Johar, had a star-studded special screening in Mumbai yesterday before its theatrical release on July 28. Bollywood celebrities, including Vicky Kaushal, Abhishek Bachchan, and Neetu Kapoor, graced the event and couldn’t stop raving about the film on social media.

Neetu Kapoor, proud mother-in-law of lead actress Alia Bhatt, took to her social media to praise the movie. She wrote, “A complete entertainer with amazing performances by all actor. Alia shines, looks gorgeous.” Gauri Khan, meanwhile, gave it ‘5 stars’.

Vicky Kaushal, thoroughly impressed with the film, shared his excitement, “Loved every bit of it. Hardcore big screen family entertainer. Take your loved ones…don’t miss it. Karan Johar you are a true master. Tremendous performance by Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and what joy to watch veterans Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan on screen. Big shout out to the entire ensemble and writers.”

Abhishek Bachchan also joined the chorus of praises, calling the film a delightful family entertainer. He said, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is so much fun. Total and complete family entertainer. So proud of my brother Karan Johar, he is back to doing what he does the best – Family entertainment. Go one, go all this Friday with your families and watch. The entire cast is wonderful.” The actor tagged the film’s star cast and congratulated them.

Alia’s mother Soni Razdan called it a “full family entertainer” in which “Rocky rocks and Rani dazzles”. With such positive reviews pouring in, the audience can’t wait to experience Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani on the big screen. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles, along with Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles. It is set to hit the theatres on July 28.
