To make matters worse, there were other people out with Ganpati idols on road for visarjan. Owing to the presence of the celebs, a monstrous crowd had gathered. All hell broke loose when Ranbir started playing the cymbals. It was a shot that media personnel tried to capture and Rishi Kapoor reportedly got angry. He is believed to have turned around and allegedly slapped a cameraman. It is also alleged that Rishi slapped a reporter as well.

In a few video clippings that have now gone viral, Rishi and Randhir are seen pushing and shoving people. As can be seen from one of the clips, Randhir lost his cool when a reporter approached him for a byte.

In yet another instance, a senior journalist of a Hindi news channel was pushed away from the car of the actors. It’s not quite clear who pushed the scribe away – the actors or their bodyguards.

“There was no reason for Rishi or Randhir to turn angry and violent. All that the media was trying to do was cover the event,” a source said.

There were Twitter reactions who slammed Rishi and Randhir Kapoor for their behaviour.

The actors were also heckled by pesky fans who were also reportedly slapped by an angry Rishi Kapoor.
