Rhea Chakraborty hugs Sushant Singh Rajput in throwback video on 3rd death anniversary: ‘I wish you were here’

It’s been three years since actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, and his ex girlfriend and actor Rhea Chakraborty, wishes ‘he was here’. Sushant died on June 14, 2020, leaving his fans, friends and family shocked. Rhea and Sushant were dating at the time of Sushant’s passing.

On Sushant’s third death anniversary, Rhea took to social media to share a throwback video of herself with him. The video is seemingly from a vacation which the two actors took together. In it, both of them are seen sitting on a huge rock while posing for the camera. Along with the video, Rhea added the Pink Floyd song, “How I wish you were here”.

In the caption of her post, Rhea used a heart and infinity emojis. As she shared the post, many Instagram users dropped heart emojis in the comments section. One of them wrote, “You’re the strongest.” Another added, “He is still alive in our heart❤️.”

Earlier this year, on Sushant’s birth anniversary, Rhea had also remembered him with a special post on Instagram. Posting a couple of selfies of herself with the late actor, she shared an infinity symbol and added a “+1” in the end.

After Sushant’s death, Rhea found herself at the receiving end of hate and also got accused of peddling drugs. She was also investigated in his death case. At the time, her family was also hounded by the media, a video of which she posted on social media. She then wrote, “There is a threat to my life and my family’s life.”

Rhea recently returned to work as she joined the ongoing season of MTV Roadies as a gang leader. Her last Bollywood outing was in the 2021 film Chehre, which also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi.

Rhea rose to fame as the host of the reality show Pepsi MTV Wassup. She then made her debut as an actor in Tollywood with the film Tuneega Tuneega. Later, she acted in Hindi films Mere Dad Ki Maruti and Half Girlfriend.
