Actor turned politician Ravi Kishan recently appeared on the show Aap Ki Adalat. The actor, who faced a barrage of questions from the host, was asked about his rumoured relationship with his former co-star Nagma.
Ravi said that the controversy started because he did a lot of films with Nagma. Ravi said, “We used to do films because our films were blockbuster and we were good friends and most importantly, everyone knew I was married. I respect and get scared of my wife Preeti Shukla and I have revealed this before that I even touch her feet. My wife has been with me from the start and even when I did not have money, she was with me.”
Ravi admitted that he became arrogant after he became a superstar and it was his wife who suggested that he should participate in Bigg Boss since that would be a humbling experience. “I had become arrogant after my movies became hits. My wife advised me to join Bigg Boss. After initial reluctance, I went. After remaining locked in their set for three months, when I came out, I had changed a lot. Not only I became popular, but I became a normal person. I sorted out my family life, my wife and children, during that period,” he shared.
Nagma had also addressed the relationship rumours and in an interview with The Telegraph in 2009. The actor said, “I don’t understand why one cannot bond well with one’s co-star. What is wrong if we are comfortable with each other? In reel life, we play husband-wife or lovers, so you need some comfort level outside of the camera as well.”
