Ravi Kishan accepts he touches wife’s feet every night while she is sleeping: ‘Whatever success I have today is because…’

Ravi Kishan complimented his wife and spoke about their long-lasting relationship on The Great Indian Kapil Show. However, Ajay Devgn didn’t miss the chance to take a playful dig at him.

Actor Ravi Kishan will next be seen in the Ajay Devgn-starrer Son of Sardaar 2. Recently, the film’s team visited The Great Indian Kapil Show to promote their upcoming release. During the interaction, host Kapil Sharma asked Ravi Kishan about his habit of touching his wife Priti Shukla’s feet every night. Responding to the question, Ravi complimented his wife and spoke about their long-lasting relationship. However, Ajay Devgn didn’t miss the chance to take a playful dig at him.

Speaking about his habit of touching his wife’s feet, Ravi said, “I do it, but she never let me do that, but whenever she is sleeping…” Explaining himself, he said, “She was by my side when I had neither money nor means. She held on through all ups and downs. Whatever success I have today, it’s because she never left my side. My son is sitting in front of me, he knows that the way she managed me, touching her feet is the least I can do.”

Ajay Devgn took the opportunity to chime in and quipped, “The guiltier a man is, the more he will bend to touch his wife’s feet.” This had Ravi, the film’s cast members, and the audience erupting in laughter.

In an earlier Instagram post during Karwa Chauth — a fast that women observe for the long life of their husbands according to Hindu belief — Ravi Kishan lauded his wife, calling her his “support system.” He wrote on Instagram, “Preeti is the support system for our family. She has always stayed beside me through thick and thin. I cannot thank her enough for making my life the way it is. Karva Chauth is a very special festival for both of us. On this day, I make sure I am with her at least during the puja ceremony. This helps strengthen our bond.”

Ravi Kishan has worked across the Bhojpuri, Hindi, and Telugu film industries. He was recently praised from all quarters for his performance in Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. He is collaborating with Ajay Devgn once again in Son of Sardaar 2, after appearing alongside him in the 2024 film Singham Again. He also played a key role in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj.
