Ranveer Allahbadia says he wants an arranged marriage after revealing new relationship; wants Sima Taparia to find a ‘spiritual’ girl

Ranveer Allahbadia, aka Beer Biceps, revealed his new relationship on Instagram just a few weeks ago. The podcaster has now said that he wants an arranged marriage.

Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps went through a lot earlier this year when he found himself in a controversy after appearing on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. While Samay pulled down his show from YouTube, and all the panelists on the show had FIRs registered against them, Ranveer, who was the first to apologise for his remarks on the show, suffered quite a bit as his social media currency plummeted. Months after that, he also revealed that he went through a “terrible” break up around the same time. In October, he hinted through his Diwali post that he was now dating someone new but his recent revelation suggests that this one isn’t for keeps either. Ranveer has now declared that he wants to have an arranged marriage and shared his criteria for a suitable match with matchmaker Sima Taparia, of Indian Matchmaking fame.

Sima was recently seen as a guest on Ranveer’s YouTube channel and as the two spoke about arranged marriages, Ranveer shared that he wants to get married in the next 1-2 years via arranged marriage. “I want to have an arranged marriage now. I am not joking. I am serious,” he told Sima. As Sima said that Ranveer was the “right age” to tie the knot, the YouTuber agreed with her and said that he was having a hard time finding his match because of his fame. “I will tell you why (I can’t find anyone) because after getting famous, I can’t go out easily. So my only option to find someone is via online dating,” he said.

Ranveer asked Sima to look for a match for him and when she asked for his list of demands in a potential match, he said, “I want someone who is spiritual because spiritual people often take care of their physical health and mental health. And they are smart enough to have that depth.” He then added, “The main thing is the spiritual factor and because of my podcast, I get a chance to learn a lot so I have noticed that I need someone who I can talk to about this stuff, someone who wants to learn things in life. These are my two main criteria in life.”

As Sima listed down the advantages of arranged marriages, Ranveer added, “I might have disagreed with you 5 years ago but now I am completely in agreement with you.” He then added, “My heart says that I should get married now.”

Sima also wondered about Ranveer’s parents and what they thought about their son’s future partner. To this, he said, “My parents want stability for me, and I know, 100 percent, they want grandchildren. For them too, spirituality is very important and education also.”

Previously, Ranveer was reportedly dating Nikki Sharma and in an earlier podcast, he shared that they had a “terrible break up” just 10 days before the India’s Got Latent controversy. Last month, while sharing his pictures from Diwali celebrations, Ranveer shared pictures of his rumoured new girlfriend, Juhi Bhatt, albeit it was an AI version. Soon after, Nikki shared screenshots of chats with her friend suggesting that he might be weaponising his situation.
