Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan are at loggerheads, but the damage is borne by Ranveer Singh. Aamir and Ranbir recently featured in an advertisement where they engage in a verbal spat, even dragging players of the Indian cricket team into it. It all began when Aamir addressed Ranbir Kapoor as Ranveer Singh, which offended the latter.

The ad’s clip showed Aamir speaking to Rishabh Pant as the cricketer expresses his wish to click a photo with Ranbir Kapoor and not Aamir. A little embarrassed, Aamir goes to Ranbir but doesn’t miss a chance to pull his leg. “Tumhari generation ka sabse bada star (Your generation’s biggest star), Ranbir Singh.” When Ranbir corrected Aamir, he responds, “Ek hi baat hai yaar, dono handsome munde hain (It’s the same thing, both are handsome).”

Ranbir, however, didn’t let go of Aamir’s mistake and says, “Aise kaise Kapoor ko Singh bol diya? Main unko Salman bulaun toh? (How can he call me Singh? Should I call him Salman?)” The banter didn’t stop there as Aamir said he wouldn’t mind being called Salman but no one should refer to him as Arbaaz Khan. To Aamir’s surprise, Arbaaz appeared in the frame and confronted him, “Sohail pe bill phad deta (Why didn’t you target Sohail Khan?).”

The multiple star appearances didn’t stop at this point, as Jackie Shroff entered the frame. Ranbir was seen complaining to him, “He is jealous of me because he is just Khan and I am Khandan. Saath (60) ke ho gaye hain, sathiya gaye hain. Retire hone bolo unko (He is 60 now. He has lost his mind. Ask him to retire).” In his cool Bhidu style, Jackie responded, “I asked for tissue, why are you handing me issue.” Aamir hits back at Ranbir, “These youngsters’ ego is bigger than their box office collection.”

Quickly, the actors are seen face to face, engulfed in a heated exchange as cricketer Rohit Sharma tries to ease the tension. Aamir declares, “Let’s settle it on the field.” Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Rishab watch from the sidelines as the two actors try to claim them from their own team. Their verdict, “Isse toh retire ho jaate”.

This isn’t the first time Aamir and Ranbir are seen together on screen. Ranbir made a cameo appearance in Aamir Khan’s PK.
