The Kapoor family, just like his fans, will celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of legendary actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor on Saturday (December 14). Saif Ali Khan, meanwhile, sported a jacket with a kurta pajama, while Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor wore salwar kameez. The actors were spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina airport. It was earlier reported that the Kapoor kids were planning a big celebration in memory of their loving grandfather.

As reported by PTI earlier, on the occasion of Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary, PVR INOX Limited and the Film Heritage Foundation will organise an RK Film Festival. The festival will be held from December 13 to 15 in 101 theaters across 34 cities in India. This event is expected to be one of the most extensive retrospectives ever dedicated to Raj Kapoor’s cinema. As part of the centenary celebrations, audiences will have the unique opportunity to relive Raj Kapoor’s timeless masterpieces on the big screen.

Raj Kapoor, who was considered a pioneer of Indian cinema, died in 1988. His sons Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor carried his legacy of acting forward in Hindi cinema. And now that baton lies with Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and others who are amongst the most popular stars in Bollywood.
