Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were seen in a new ad directed by Karan Johar. Ranbir has previously worked with Karan in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Alia has worked with him in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt first shared screen space in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and the superstar duo is back together but this time, it is for a Karan Johar directorial. The trio has joined their hands together for a new ad of a fabric company that is all about the chemistry of the lead couple. Here, Ranbir is trying to celebrate his award win with Alia who seems to be upset about another fight. When he asks her to celebrate, Alia finds a rather unique way of doing so.

The ad opens with Ranbir asking Alia if she is still upset with him even after he has won an award. When he demands to be congratulated, she throws an obligatory ‘congratulations’ with some anger. “Itna sukha sukha, let’s celebrate?” he asks as Alia presents two racks of wine. When Ranbir asks if she isn’t worried about getting the furniture and drapes dirty, Alia introduces the brand. Just then, the bottles of what looks like champagne pop open and Ranbir is drenched in it. She then throws a kiss towards him and says congratulations with a smile.

The ad was shared by Dharma 2.0’s social handle with the caption, “Congratulations🍾🥂 directed by the one and only @karanjohar And the Drama between @aliaabhatt and #RanbirKapoor is HOT DAMN! 🔥”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had a very successful 2023. Alia was last seen in Karan Johar’s Rocku Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani and Ranbir delivered the most successful film of his career with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.

Alia is now getting ready to release Vasan Bala’s Jigra, which also stars Vedang Raina. Ranbir will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan. While an official announcement of the film is still awaited, the shoot has been underway for some time now. Ranbir will be seen with Sai Pallavi in the film.

Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in 2022 and welcomed their daughter Raha Kapoor later that year.
