Video of Ranbir Kapoor’s beefed-up, messy look from Animal leaked online, fans think it’s ‘very Kabir Singh-ish’

Actor Ranbir Kapoor seems to have undergone a physical transformation for his role in the upcoming film Animal. After sporting a clean-shaven, boy-next-door look in his latest film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Ranbir will be seen in a more grizzled look in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film. In a leaked clip from the shoot, Ranbir’s shaggy beard and hair got fans talking. Previously, a leaked video from the film’s set showed Ranbir as a clean-cut groom.

The leaked pictures seems to have been captured at a hospital, where Ranbir is still in costume. It’s unclear if he’s supposed to be a patient in this scene. In the video, the actor is seen leaving the hospital after finishing his shoot.

Twitter users were quick to draw parallels between Ranbir’s look and that of Shahid Kapoor from Vanga’s last film, Kabir Singh. Shahid also sported a messy beard and wild hair in the film. One person commented, “Very Kabir Singh-ish, don’t you think? Would be very sad if the director repeats himself. Have huge expectations from this film.”, while another person commented, “Such Kabir Singh vibes.”

One person shared their expectations from the film, and wrote, “I hope it’s not just a mass movie. Because I am a rk fan due to his effort to deliver quality content not just masala mass action.” Ranbir was also spotted in Mumbai, as he arrived on set.

Recently, Ranbir’s fitness trainer Shivoham had shared the actor’s fitness journey on social media. He had written, “What you see is truly an example of a disciplined lifestyle, dedication and a lot of hard work. It’s a team effort and results like this cannot be achieved by half-hearted involvement.”

Animal also stars Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles. The film will be released on August 11. Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has proven to be a modest success, having made around Rs 125 crore in India.
