Actor Parineeti Chopra and politician fiance Raghav Chaddha’s engagement in New Delhi was the stuff happy memories are made of, as suggested by the images. Raghav has now penned a note for his fiancée.

In the pictures, Parineeti is seen standing in Raghav’s embrace, while in another, she is seen getting emotional as Raghav wipes tears off her face. Other pictures include the family dancing and celebrating the exchange of rings. Raghav wrote that his life changed after he met Parineeti.

Raghav wrote in the caption, “And one fine day, this beautiful girl entered my life, adding a colourful dash of smiles, laughter and sparkle to brighten it up, and whose gentle, reassuring embrace promised eternal love and support. No wonder our engagement was such a happy occasion where tears of joy, laughter, happiness and merry dancing brought our loved ones even closer – quintessentially the Punjabi way.”

The couple had announced their engagement through social media and later also released a note of gratitude. In the first post from their engagement, Parineeti wrote in the caption, “Everything I prayed for .. I said yes!”

Parineeti’s engagement saw sister Priyanka Chopra Jonas in attendance, who flew down from Los Angeles to be a part of the celebrations. She wore a stylish yellow saree for her younger sister’s big day. Celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra had also flown down to Delhi for Parineeti’s special day.
