Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has begun shooting for her next film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ today.
The former Miss World, who has always played the contemporary Indian girl, will be for the first time seen playing a princess onscreen.
Priyanka, who has just wrapped up ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, tweeted a picture of hers from the sets giving just a glimpse of her look.
Though she did not reveal her look for the movie but from the huge rings, gold and green bangles with a white and golden sari one can make out it will surely be Royal.
Priyanka is most likely playing the role of Bajirao’s wife Kashibai. The film reunites Ram-Leela couple Deepika and Ranveer onscreen – while Ranveer will Bajirao, Deepika will play the lead role of Mastani.
The movie was first announced way back in 2003 with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai in lead. But after the super success of ‘Ram Leela’ last year, Sanjay Leela Bhansali revived his most ambitious project with Deepika and Ranveer.
Bajirao Mastani, a period drama and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream project, will be shot in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
