Priyanka Chopra has started the shoot of her new film The Bluff, also starring Karl Urban in the lead role. On Thursday, the global star took to her Instagram stories to share a couple of photos from the sets of the Frank E Flowers directorial. Priyanka is accompanied by her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas on the shoot.
On her Instagram Stories, Priyanka first shared a photo of her chair on set that had her name “Priyanka Chopra” followed by her character name “Ercell”. The next photo was a selfie, in which she can be seen casually dressed and pairing her look with glasses and a cap. The third photo was of Malti Marie busy painting and the fourth photo was an art work with imprints of the palms of the mom-daughter duo on a drawing sheet.
Just last week, Priyanka Chopra updated her fans about getting back to work by sharing a script of The Bluff with “Om” written on top of it. Sharing the script, she wrote, “It begins.” The actor is currently in Australia for the shoot of the film. Priyanka’s new Hollywood project will have a direct-to-OTT release on Amazon Prime Video.
The Bluff is a period drama. Set in the 19th century Caribbean, the film will follow the story of a former pirate, Ercell, played by Priyanka Chopra. Her character in the film will reportedly embark on a journey to protect her family when her secrets of the past catch up with her. The project will mark Priyanka’s second collaboration with Prime Video after the web series Citadel.
Apart from The Bluff, Priyanka Chopra will also be seen in Heads Of State with Idris Elba and John Cena. She recently wrapped the film before taking a break.
