Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee tie the knot, share first pictures: ‘I’ll marry you in every lifetime’

While speaking to Vogue India, Prateik Babbar said, “We desired a ‘ghar ki shaadi’, and getting married to the love of my life here—the first house that my mom bought and my home—was the best way to honour her in spirit.”

For their special day, the couple opted for ivory and gold traditional outfits by Tarun Tahiliani. While Priya Banerjee wore an ivory and gold lehenga with detailed threadwork and embroidery, paired with green kundan jewellery, Prateik Babbar chose an open sherwani with a drape shirt and dhoti set. He also wore a layered pearl necklace.

In an earlier interview with ETimes, Prateik Babbar’s half-brother and actor Aarya Babbar revealed that no one from the Babbar family was invited to Prateik’s wedding, not even their father, veteran actor Raj Babbar. He said, “I presume someone has overpowered his brain too much. He is not wanting to connect with anyone from this side of the family. He has decided not to call anyone.”

On the work front, Prateik will be seen next in Salman Khan-starrer Sikandar.
