Actor Pooja Bhatt is a doting aunt to her niece Raha Kapoor, daughter of actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. In a recent interview, Pooja praised her young niece and said that she appears to be the brightest kid in the Bhatt clan.
In an interview with Zoom, Pooja spoke about how the Bhatt family members like to advice each other and said that soon, the youngest Bhatt will also start speaking her mind. “I can assure you,” Pooja said and added, “I think she seems to be the brightest of us all. So, I am waiting for the time she will actually be able to vocalise her advice.”
Pooja shared that Raha is just expressing her thoughts using her facial expressions, but that will change soon. “Right now, it’s through look. So, I think that you should learn from the generation after and in our family we’ve assured at least one thing… Like the Apple phone, each model gets better. So, I think we’re doing that pretty well,” said Pooja, who will soon be seen in web series Big Girls Don’t Cry.
Raha also recently made her debut on mother Alia’s Instagram account. She had accompanied her parents to Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar.
After Raha’s birth on November 6, 2022 Alia and Ranbir had made a special request to the Mumbai paparazzi to not capture their daughter’s face in public outings and had promised to introduce Raha to the camera at the right time. The actor-couple finally brought her in front of the camera on Kapoor’s famous Christmas lunch in December 2023. Since then, the parents have proudly posed with Raha on many ocassions.
