Actor Neetu Kapoor has reportedly purchased a new apartment in Mumbai worth Rs 17.4 crore. The apartment is located on the seventh floor of Sunteck Realty’s 19-storey Signia Isle, located opposite Sofitel hotel in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).
The transaction, according to a Hindustan Times report citing documents accessed by IndexTap.com, was registered between Neetu and seller Kewal Krishan Nohria on May 10. She paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.04 crore. The 3,387 square feet apartment comes with three parking spaces.
Recently, Neetu’s daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt purchased an apartment in the Bandra suburb of Mumbai worth Rs 37 crore. Registration for the apartment, which is located on the sixth floor of the Aerial View Cooperative Housing Society Limited in the Pali Hill locality of Bandra, was done on April 10. On the same day, Alia gifted two apartments in Juhu to her sister Shaheen.
In addition to this, the family is expected to soon move into a sprawling mansion, also in the Pali Hill locality. The multi-storey bungalow is currently under construction, and both Alia and Neetu have often been photographed paying visits to the construction site to check on the progress. They’re often joined by Alia’s husband and Neetu’s son, Ranbir Kapoor.
After appearing in several hit films in the 1970s, Neetu stepped back from acting to raise her children. She would occasionally show up in films during this time, but made her full-fledged comeback with last year’s JugJugg Jeeyo, starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor. She is also a regular fixture on the reality show circuit.
