Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife Aaliya clarifies her ‘companion’ not responsible for separation: ‘I filed for divorce two years ago’

Aaliya Siddiqui was married to actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for 19 years and has two children with him, but their relationship went sour some time back.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui shared a picture of herself with her special person a few days back and wrote about finding happiness again in life. In an interview, she revealed that she met him at a friend’s party, and now when she looks at him, she wishes she had met him earlier in life.

Aaliya has been married to actor Nawazuddin for 19 years and has two children with him, but their relationship went sour some time back. The two even had a public showdown and now they are undergoing their divorce proceedings.

Aaliya spoke about being in a “happy space” after a long time with Bombay Times. Speaking about the man in her life, she said that he is extremely supportive of her and despite the language barrier, the two connect on an emotional level.

“He is intelligent, simple, extremely respectful, loving and caring. He was a huge emotional support to me in this past year. He wants me to grow in life and be less conscious. He makes me wonder… kaash yeh mujhe pehle mila hota (Wish I could have met him earlier). Though he is more comfortable speaking in French and Italian, while I speak Hindi, our common language of communication is English,” said Aaliya.

Aaliya also shut the trolls who blamed her special someone for being the reason behind her divorce with Nawaz. “I filed for divorce two years ago, long before I met my companion, so no, so he has nothing to do with my broken marriage,” she clarified.

Nawaz and Aaliya have moved on in their respective lives but continue to talk with each other for the sake of their son and daughter. Aaliya lived in Dubai with her two children and Nawaz has been told by the court to provide for their education and living there.
