Nawazuddin Siddiqui, known for his intense performances on screen, recently opened up about the challenges of balancing his demanding work schedule with his fatherly duties. In a candid conversation, the actor revealed how he compensates for lost time with his family in Dubai. “Whenever I get time, as soon as I finish work on a film, I got to Dubai,” Nawazuddin shared in an interview with Manju Ramanan, highlighting his priority to spend quality time with his children. “As soon as I get time, five days, ten days, whatever time I get, I come to Dubai,” he said.

During his visits, Nawazuddin ensures he fulfills his paternal responsibilities, which often get neglected due to his busy schedule. She said, “I drop them off at school and pick them up. One of the shortcomings is that I can’t give time to my children. So, I do that in the 12 days when I am here. Yes, I enjoy fulfilling my duties as a father.”

Nawazuddin’s daughter, Shora, is still finding her way, while also preparing to be an actor like her dad. When asked about her aspirations, the actor revealed, “She wants to become an actress.” However, he also expressed concerns about her watching his films, given their mature themes. “There are some films that she can’t watch because of her age, and most of my films are like that. So, I think that the two films that I have done, Costao… she’ll easily be able to watch it.”

Nawazuddin also shared that Shora is quite opinionated and critical of his work. He shared what kind of feedback she gives him as he chuckled while sharing, “She always tells me, ‘Papa, don’t even think of dancing. You are very stiff.'”

Nawazuddin’s family shifted to Dubai after the actor and his wife Aaliya reconciled after being on the verge of divorce. Aaliya lives in Dubai with both the children– daugher Shora and son Yaani — seeking better educational opportunities and a more stable environment for them.
