Filmmaker Srijit Mukheji was in the capital to receive National Film Award for his Bengali thriller titled ‘Chotushkone’, when he met with an accident.
Reportedly, the filmmaker was rushed to AIIMS after he met with an accident while traveling in his car.
He sustained minor fractures with soft tissue avulsion on left foot. As of now, the filmmaker is stable and will be reviewed again later in the day.
Srijit’s film ‘Chotushkone’ won National Awards for Best Direction, Cinematography and Original Screenplay at the 62nd National Film Awards. He was in Delhi to receive his Award.
