After the success of her cooking show with Dilip, Farah Khan has now moved on to a new show, Aunty Kisko Bola. However, her Dilip remains a fixture in her new show as well. The filmmaker recently released a new video of the show in which women from all walks of life showcase their talent. The new episode saw Munawar Faruqui and Ashish Chanchlani as judges, along with Farah.
The video kicked off with Dilip announcing that he will judge the show with Munawar and Ashish and not Farah, while Ashish and Munawar questioned Dilip at first but then were okay with the idea and even credited him for bringing in the relatability factor in Farah’s video. “More people comment when you come in videos,” Ashish said. However, the fun part of the video started when they began taking digs at their own lives and recalled the time they were arrested or had a brush with the police.
Dilip quipped, “A judge also send people to jail.” This prompted Munawar to say, “Judge also give bail.” However, Ashish was uncomfortable with the conversation and said, “Let’s not talk about judges and bail.” Farah quickly enters the frame and confronted Dilip for claiming to judge the show. “You said you are the judge and you both don’t feel shame?” she told Dilip. “What are you doing here? Go set up the food. And why are you sending him (pointing at Munawar) to jail again, he has just come back from jail. Nikalja yaha se tere shakal nahi dekhugi, aunty log ka show hai ye, ghante logo ka nahi (Go leave, I won’t see your face, this is a show for the women).”
Later, both Munawar and Ashish were seen warning Farah of Dilip’s popularity and that he could take over Farah’s job. Munawar said, “Mam iska screen time kam karo, ye job kha jaega apki. (Reduce his screen time, he will eat up your job).” Ashish added, “He is overpowering you.” Later in the show, a contestant refused to recognise Dilip, and this prompted Munawar to say, “This makes Farah mam so happy.”
As the show progressed, Ashish joked and said, “We will enjoy but we won’t do anything that will send us to jail.” For the unversed, Ashish was embroiled in the India’s Got Latent controversy in February 2025. He was one of the panelists on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent, which was stopped after a controversy erupted over fellow panelist Ranveer Allahbadia’s obscene remark on the show. Ashish had appeared in front of the police multiple times regarding the same.
Munawar Faruqui was briefly detained in March 2024 during a police raid on an illegal hookah bar in Mumbai but was released on bail the same day. In 2021, he had spent 37 days in jail after he was arrested for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of Hindus during a stand-up comedy show.
