The shooting of actors Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi starrer Baadshaho, which is being directed by Milan Luthria, has begun. The thriller is reportedly set during the 70s emergency period. It marks the reunion of Ajay, Emraan and Milan after their hugely successful film “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai” (2010).
Ajay took to Twitter saying: Best wishes @milanluthria @emraanhashmi @Ileana_Official @eshagupta2811 @VidyutJammwal for @baadshaho. Looking forward to join you’ll soon!

“Baadshaho” also stars Esha Gupta and Ileana D’Cruz.
An excited Ileana posted, “@milanluthria here’s to a smashing start!! Can’t wait to get on set with u guys!! #BaadshahoStartsToday.”
Sending her best wishes to the film’s team, Esha tweeted, “Goodluck to team #Baadshaho @milanluthria… see you soon.”
The film’s writer Rajat Arora, who has penned movies like Taxi 9211, Bluffmaster and Kick, shared on Twitter a photograph of the film’s clap board. “A new journey begins! Too excited! First Day Of Shoot ‘Baadshaho’,” Arora tweeted.
The film, set against the backdrop of the Emergency period in the country, stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’Cruz Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal.
