Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films has delivered the best news to their horror-comedy universe fans in the beginning of 2025. The makers announced eight films that are going to be a part of their horror-comedy universe in the coming years. The line-up includes movies like Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 3 and Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya 2. Along with these two highly anticipated films, Maddock Films has introduced some new films to the universe. Shakti Shalini and Chamunda have joined the horror-comedy world leading up to an epic multiverse showdown in Doosara Mahayudh.
Stree 3, the third installment of fan favourite franchise Stree, is scheduled to hit theatres on August 13, 2027. Along with Stree 3 announcement, the makers have also announced the release dates of other horror comedy movies including Thama (releasing on Diwali 2025), Shakti Shalini (on December 31, 2025), Bhediya 2(August 14, 2026) , Chamunda (December 4, 2026), Maha Munjya (December 24, 2027), Pehla Mahayudh (August 11, 2028) and Doosara Mahayudh (October 18, 2028).
