Lisa Haydon recently shared a collage of photos and videos showing her family enjoying a beach vacation. Lisa is married to British businessman Dino Lalvani, and together they have three kids – Zack, Leo, and Lara. Lisa started her career in modelling and became one of the top models in the country before she ventured into acting with Sonam Kapoor-starrer Aisha. However, after a few films, she left the Hindi film industry.
Lisa was born to an Indian father and an Australian mother. She began pursuing modeling in Australia before moving to India in 2007 to build her career in the fashion industry. She ventured into acting with Aisha in 2010 and went on to feature in other films like Rascals, The Shaukeens, Housefull 3, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Though she never played lead roles in these films, she gained attention and widespread acclaim after playing a pivotal role in Kangana Ranaut-starrer Queen.
In 2016, Lisa married British businessman Dino Lalvani. He is the son of telecom tycoon Gulu Lalvani, who co-founded the Hong Kong-based consumer electronics and personal care products company Binatone. Dino Lalvani is currently the Chairman of Binatone. He is also the founder of Hubble, an Internet of Things (IoT) company focused on providing devices and smart nursery products.
Lisa was last seen on the big screen in 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, where her glamorous role became iconic. Who can forget Anushka Sharma throwing wine on her white dress? After the film, Lisa refrained from appearing in movies. In a 2012 interview with PTI, Lisa admitted to being stereotyped in the film industry because of her modeling background: “You suffer a lot of prejudices coming from a modeling background. People really only want to see you look good. I’m so tired of being offered good looking roles. Wish someone would cast me for the dorky, strong-headed and de-glam girl I really am,” she said.
Though Lisa has been away from films, the actor-model often returns to her first love of modelling and is regularly seen walking ramps. She recently walked the ramp at Dubai Fashion Week in September. She also posed for Rahul Mishra’s new bridal collection in Paris. In July, she walked at Paris Couture Week. Lisa is the face of many brands, with Lakme being the most prominent. She is often seen featuring in advertisements for brands like Nykaa, Tanishq, and others. She was also recently on the cover of Vogue India.
