Kriti Sanon, Kareena Kapoor, and Tabu are all set to captivate their fans with a rollercoaster of emotions and laughter in their upcoming film, Crew. With just a day left until its release, Kriti Sanon has treated fans to a hilarious behind-the-scenes video, showcasing her and Tabu shooting by the sea on a day when Mumbai received a cyclone warning.
In the clip, Tabu humorously remarks on the timing of the production team. She quipped, “So, today there is a cyclone warning in our city Mumbai and I just thought that it is such a perfect day for production to plan this scene.” Kriti then shares glimpses of the waves and windy weather on the beach. Sharing the video on her Instagram story, Kriti wrote, “Jaan jokhim mein daalne ke liye always ready hai humara CREW!.” The clip was also shared by Kriti’s fan club.
In Crew, the three actors portray disgruntled flight attendants, weary of unpaid dues, dead-end jobs, and a bleak future. However, their lives take a dramatic turn when they stumble upon kilos of gold bars strapped to a passed-out passenger’s body. They seize the opportunity, stealing the gold bars and embarking on a journey of luxury and thrill.
Discussing the film, Kriti previously shared with indianexpress.com, “It is a quirky fun film. It has got a lot to do with the camaraderie of these three women. It is very well written; it is very funny and has a thrill element to it as well. Obviously because Rhea is attached to it, it is going to look very good. Rajesh’s Lootcase was so fresh and funny. I am looking forward to finally getting to work with women who I have admired as actors, just play off them and have a good time.”
In addition to the stellar cast, Crew will also feature Anil Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kapil Sharma in pivotal roles. Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, the film is set to hit theatres on Friday.
