Khushi Kapoor, at the premiere night of her debut film The Archies, paid a tribute to her mother, late actor Sridevi, by donning one of her gowns for her special moment. Khushi wore a shimmering golden gown which was worn by Sridevi for the IIFA award night in 2013. Khushi donned the 10-year-old dress for her special night.
Fashion influencer Diet Sabya shared details about Khushi’s special dress on their Instagram page and lauded her for elevating the look while still keeping it close to the original. Sharing a picture of Khushi and Sridevi in the same dress, they wrote, “A tribute to the iconic Sri ❤️.”
“For her first movie premier, Khushi Kapoor wears a Kaufman Franco gown from 2013 worn by Sri Devi at the IIFA awards. Styled by @priyankarkapadia Glam @tanvichemburkar @hot.hair.balloon,” they added.
Khushi’s elder sister, actor Janhvi Kapoor took to social media to cheer for her baby sister taking a leap with The Archies as her debut film. Sharing a happy picture with her, she wrote, “The sunshine of my life and now the sunshine in cinema❤️☀️you are magical.”
Janhi and Khushi’s half-sister Anshula also shared a sweet note cheering for Khushi. Sharing a picture with the Archies actor, Anshula wrote, “Feeling too many feeling watching this one literally fly on the big screen🥺😍. ILYSM (I love you so much) my @khushi05k. You’ve absolutely killed it!Couldn’t take my eyes off of you⭐✨💫.”
The Archies marks the debut of not only Khushi Kapor but also Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The film also stars Aditi Dot, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda among others.
