The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 turned into an emotional affair as it featured visually impaired contestant Ayushi reaching the hot seat after winning the fastest finger first round. Ayushi was warmly greeted by host Amitabh Bachchan, who personally escorted her to the seat. During their interaction, Ayushi revealed that she is an IAS officer, currently serving as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate.

Ayushi also spoke about her deep connection with KBC and recalled how her family would always describe the set to her. She shared, “Ever since this show began, my entire family has watched it and would narrate to me how the set looks, the lighting, and how you make every contestant feel comfortable. I am feeling very comfortable right now. This show is a feeling for me.”

The IAS officer admitted that although she cannot see Big B in person, she has always been told about his striking looks and magnetic personality. She added, “People often tell me about you, how tall you are, your striking features, and how handsome you look.”

Amitabh Bachchan was visibly moved by Ayushi’s words and expressed that it was an absolute privilege to have her on the show. “We are very fortunate that you are with us today,” he said.

Ayushi’s mother also commended her daughter’s resilience and determination, sharing how she has always been focused on achieving her goals despite health challenges. “She is visually impaired and also suffers from an illness. As a child, she could only see faint, blurry light, and with time, even that faded. Yet, she has always been an enthusiastic and spirited child, determined to achieve something in life,” she said.

Ayushi went on to reveal that she had secured an impressive All-India Rank 48 in the UPSC Civil Services Exam. Before cracking the UPSC, she had also worked as a lecturer.
