Singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have seemingly confirmed their dating rumours after being spotted walking hand-in-hand in Paris on Saturday night, October 25. The two were in the French capital to celebrate Perry’s 45th birthday.
According to TMZ, Katy and Justin attended a cabaret show at Crazy Horse Paris. In a viral video, the couple can be seen walking out of the venue while holding hands. Katy looked stunning in an all-red dress with a knee-high slit and a sleek bun, while Trudeau opted for an all-black look for the outing. As they exited the venue, the crowd and paparazzi began singing “Happy Birthday” to Perry, and a fan handed her a rose. Later, Trudeau was seen helping Perry into their car before the two zoomed off together.
Though neither party has officially confirmed their relationship, this public display of affection seemingly confirms their romance. Rumours of Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau dating have been circulating for quite some time. The couple was previously spotted getting cosy and sharing a kiss aboard the singer’s yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.
Katy also dropped a hint about dating Justin at her recent concert in London. When a fan got on one knee and asked her to marry him, Katy replied, “I wish you’d asked me 48 hours ago.” Her response came just two days after she was photographed on the yacht with Trudeau.
Katy was earlier engaged to actor Orlando Bloom. The two have a daughter, Daisy Dove. They began dating in 2016 and announced their engagement in 2019. However, in July 2025, the couple announced their split after six years of being engaged.
Justin Trudeau, on the other hand, was married to Sophie Grégoire for 18 years. They share three children –sons Xavier and Hadrien, and daughter Ella-Grace. The couple announced their separation in 2023.
