In the comments section of a Reddit post sharing the clip of Katherine fixing Aishwarya’s train, one person wrote, “Noticed this as well. Best moment from the show imo.” But another person had a different concern. “Why is it that people get so excited over the tiniest bit of communication between Hollywood celebrities and Bollywood celebrities? We often shame Bollywood stars for wanting western validation but also do it ourselves. Anyways Aish is so graceful,” they commented.

Aishwarya has been an ambassador for the brand for several years, and makes annual appearances at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival as a representative. She is usually joined by Aaradhya, and sometimes by her husband, Abhishek Bachchan. At the Paris Fashion Week this year, Aishwarya had other family members for company.

Navya Naveli Nanda, Abhishek’s niece, made her debut at the event, which meant that Navya’s mother and grandmother — Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Jaya Bachchan — were also in attendance. Shweta even took to social media to share a video of Navya, who is a social entrepreneur, walking the runway. In another post, Shweta shared several behind-the-scenes pictures from the event, and wrote a proud note for her daughter. Aishwarya was last seen in the two Ponniyin Selvan epics, directed by Mani Ratnam. Navya has decided to not join the film business like most of her immediate family members, and runs a couple of start-ups.
