Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani will soon be seen in their upcoming film Satyaprem Ki Katha and a leaked video from the set of the film is now doing the rounds of social media. The video is from a wedding scene where Kartik and Kiara’s characters are taking pheras on a mandap. The actors looked quite emotional in the leaked video.
Here, Kartik is dressed in an ivory sherwani with a golden pagdi. Kiara is dressed in a similar coloured lehenga but she also has a red dupatta on her shoulder.

Directed by Sameer Vidwans, Satyaprem Ki Katha was originally titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha when it was first announced in 2021. The makers then changed the title to “avoid hurting sentiments.” Their statement read, “A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film ‘Satyanarayan ki Katha’ to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that’s purely unintentional. Producers of the film and the creative team also are in complete support of this decision. We will be announcing a new title for our love story in the due course of our journey.”
Sameer Vidwans, known for directing the National Award-winning Marathi film Anandi Gopal, is making his Hindi film debut with this film.
Satyaprem Ki Katha will be Kartik’s second film of the year after Shehzada. The film, directed by Rohit Dhawan, failed at the box office. The film was Kartik’s first venture as a producer. Kiara was last seen in Govinda Naam Mera, which released on Disney+ Hotstar, with Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar.
Satyaprem Ki Katha is Kartik and Kiara’s second collaboration after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film is scheduled to release on June 29.
