Filmmaker Karam Johar, who has recently wrapped up the eighth season of his popular chat show, Koffee With Karan, has revealed what is inside the ‘Koffee Hamper’ this season. He shared a glimpse of the hamper that the guests on his show won for acing the famous Rapid Fire Round and it is as luxurious as it gets.
Sharing a video on Instagram, Karan wrote, “The one constant guest of honour on the Koffee couch has been none other than – the Koffee hamper! Not going to gate-keep the secret about this one, so here you go!🎁.” He called the ‘Koffee Hamper’ the “third wheel” between the guests on his couch, which is “immensely desired, ruthlessly fought over and extremely glorious”.
Among the many things that go inside the Koffee hamper, KJo shared a glimpse of an exquisite necklace that goes to the winner of the rapid-fire round. The hamper includes tech products like a mobile phone and a Go Pro camera, beauty products like almond body shower gel, some premium tea, luxury beverages, and gourmet chocolates. At last, Karan introduced the Koffee With Karan season 8 mug which is a ‘handcrafted designer mug made from the finest Indian clay.’
However, Karan Johar refrained from revealing certain items of the hamper. He said, “There are a couple of more high luxury items in the hamper, and an exciting, must-have high-tech product, that we are sure our guests have completely, loved, adored. But I won’t tell you what those are. There is no hamper without a little element of intrigue to it. These are some secrets we can only keep to ourselves.”
The eighth season of Koffee With Karan had an interesting lineup of celebrities. While Saif Ali Khan came along with his mother Sharmila Tagore, Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman shot for an episode together and Ajay Devgn came with his filmmaker-friend Rohit Shetty. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were the opening guests of the show and the episode featuring them was voted as the best episode during the Koffee Awards.
The Koffee hamper for this season was curated by Shikha Sethi Chowdhary and the design and packaging was done by Dipti Goenka at Budluv.
