Karan Johar hosted a Dhanteras puja as Diwali festivities begin. Actors Sidharth Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, among others, attended the puja.

Filmmaker and Koffee With Karan host Karan Johar hosted a Dhanteras puja at the Dharma Productions office in Mumbai on Friday. Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Vicky Kaushal and Ibrahim Ali Khan were among the celebriities who attended the puja.

Karan twinned with his twins — Roohi and Yash — as they welcomed their family friends at the office. Taking to Instagram, Karan wrote, “Mere do Anmol Ratan…. Happy Diwali to you and yours!!!! Love and light for life🤗🤗❤️🤗❤️❤️.”

Dhanteras is celebrated by worshiping Goddess Lakshmi for good health, wealth and abundance.

Karan Johar and his children wore pearl white traditional attires for the puja. Vikcy Kaushal donned a mustard yellow kurta and pyjama for his visit to Dharma Productions, the banner with which he made films like Raazi and Govinda Naam Mera.

Janhvi Kapoor and her sister Khushi Kapooor, who is all set to make her acting debut with Netflix’s The Archies, also attended the puja. The two sisters wore their traditional south Indian outfits.

Sidharth Malhotra, who made his acting debut with Karan Johar’s production venture Student Of The Year in 2012, made it to the puja too.

Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan who assisted Karan in his last directorial — Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani — attended the puja as well.

Film producer Guneet Monga shared a few inside pictures from the puja at Karan Johar’s office. Sharing the pictures on Instagram, she wrote, “Parampara: Started the festival of lights with annual Dhanteras Pooja at @Dharmamovies. Thank you for making @whosunnykapoor and me a part of this ritual! Diwali begins! ♥️✨.”
