After a six-year-long feud, comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover have finally buried the hatchet, and to add to this big development, the duo is reuniting for a Netflix show. Fans are excited after watching a recent promotional video featuring the two, where they even playfully teased their infamous fight that happened in Australia.
The video starts with Kapil and Sunil introducing themselves and they say ‘I am coming on Netflix’. Then they both say, ‘Let’s go together.’ When Kapil says, ‘We are going to be in 190 countries,’ Sunil hilariously says, “Let’s not go to Australia.’ Sunil then says in the video, ‘By air nahi, by road jayenge.’
For the unversed, Sunil, famous for his roles as Gutthi and Dr. Mashoor Gulati on Kapil Sharma’s various shows, shocked everyone when he left the show in 2018 due to a big argument with Kapil Sharma. The disagreement happened during a flight back to Mumbai after they finished a show in Australia.
The latest video also features Archana Puran Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Rajiv Thakur. Sharing the video, Netflix wrote, “Dil thaam ke baithiye, jis ghadi ka intezar tha, vo aagayi hai! @kapilsharma and @whosunilgover BACK TOGETHER, coming soon, only on Netflix!”
Kapil had previously opened up about his fight with Sunil during the promotions of his film Firangi. He had said, “I never fought with Sunil, I love working with the best people in the industry. When I had started working on Comedy Circus I had asked the makers to get Sunil on board whom I had met on Hass Baliye. When you work with the best people, you learn a lot.” While the details of the show are still under wraps, this announcement has sparked immense excitement among fans who have long been waiting for the reunion of the duo.
