Actors Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Kapoor, and Nikita Dutta along with the film’s directors Robbie Grewal and Kookie Gulati, and producer Siddharth Anand graced the trailer launch of Netflix’s upcoming film Jewel Thief on Monday. At the event in Mumbai, when Siddharth was asked about some qualities of Saif, he pointed out the actor’s wild sense of humour.
Siddharth said, “Saif has grown wider and taller. Otherwise, he is the same. He is lovable. He is somebody who is a darling on set. He makes everybody comfortable and I am glad this quality about him has not changed.”
He added, “Though, sometimes his jokes scare people. His sense of humour is wild.” When asked if there is one quality of Saif that he would want to change, the producer said, “He should come on time.”
In the past, Siddharth Anand and Saif Ali Khan have collaborated on Salaam Namaste and Tara Rum Pum. Talking about his latest project with Saif, Siddharth said, “With Jewel Thief, my endeavour was to make an immersive film experience that you could watch in the comfort of your couch. This film will offer that.”
Jewel Theif is a heist drama releasing on Netflix on April 25, 2025.
