It’s wedding season, and much like last year, when the Ambani celebrations dominated every corner of the internet, another high-profile wedding is now capturing global attention. This time, it’s the lavish Udaipur wedding of Netra Mantena, daughter of US-based billionaire pharmaceutical entrepreneur Rama Raju Mantena. The three-day festivities began last night, and by this morning, social media was already buzzing. On Saturday morning, Jennifer Lopez was spotted arriving at the Udaipur airport.
Videos of the singer stepping out of the terminal, waving at photographers, and flashing her signature smile have gone viral. Lopez even paused briefly for the shutterbugs, greeting them with a flying kiss before heading to her car. In a light-hearted moment, one paparazzo mistakenly called out, “Welcome to India, Rihanna,” drawing laughter online.
For those unaware, this is not Jennifer’s first performance at an Indian high-profile wedding. She previously performed at the Udaipur wedding of UK-based tycoon Sanjay Hinduja and Anu Mahtani, sister of fashion designer Nandita Mahtani. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber is also reportedly slated to perform at the wedding, though details about his arrival remain unconfirmed. Donald Trump Jr, the son of US President Donald Trump, arrived on Friday after a private visit to the Reliance Foundation’s Vantara wildlife rescue centre in Jamnagar, before making a stop at the Taj Mahal in Agra.
Bollywood stars are also participating in the celebrations. Ranveer Singh was spotted at the sangeet, where viral videos show him dancing to ‘Aankh Marey’ from Simmba and encouraging guests to join in. He was also seen grooving to ‘What Jhumka’ alongside Trump Jr’s partner. Several other Bollywood celebrities, including Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Jacqueline Fernandez, are attending the festivities.
