After releasing two tracks — “Bijuria” and “Panwadi” — the makers of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari have unveiled another song — “Perfect” — from the film. This time, the movie’s lead actors Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan team up with Guru Randhawa, who is riding high on the success of his recent tracks “Sirra” and “Azul”, to deliver a peppy new number.
The track highlights the chemistry between Varun and Janhvi, who are seen dressed in street-style outfits. The energetic song captures them showing off their dance moves, including locking and popping, and is the perfect mix of rhythm and peppy vibe. With music and lyrics by Guru Randhawa, Gill Machhrai, and Rony Ajnali, the track stands out for its quirky visuals. In the video, Janhvi is even seen ironing money and eating jewels.
Speaking about working with Guru Randhawa on the song, Varun Dhawan said, “This is my fourth collaboration with Guru. I’ve known him for a long time, so when we met, it was just a casual catch-up. But then he played ‘PERFECT’ for me, and I instantly felt it was the right song for our film. I called Shashank straight away and told him, ‘We have to have this!.’”
Janhvi Kapoor also shared her excitement, saying, “Guru has created something so catchy and full of life, and dancing to it with Varun was an absolute blast. ‘PERFECT’ has this playful, high-energy vibe that adds to the fun spirit of the film – the minute you hear it, it makes you want to move.”
Guru Randhawa described the song as all about “good vibes.” He said, “It’s fresh, fun, and packed with an energy that instantly lifts your mood and gets you moving. The beats are infectious, and the rhythm has that playful swing that makes it impossible not to groove.”
Earlier, the makers had unveiled the trailer of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which introduces Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor as two heartbroken individuals whose exes are set to marry each other. To make their exes jealous, they decide to come together, leading to chaos and plenty of fun.
The film is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan and marks the third installment of Dharma Productions’ Dulhania franchise. Apart from Janhvi and Varun, it also stars Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf in pivotal roles. The film is set to release on the occasion of Dussehra, October 2.
