After a lavish wedding ceremony in Udaipur, Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, and her husband, Nupur Shikhare, jetted off to Indonesia for their honeymoon. Although the couple has returned from their exotic getaway, Ira continues to share pictures of Indonesia on social media. Her recent post shows them enjoying poolside dates, while Nupur performs headstands at various locations.
Ira posted shirtless snapshots of Nupur, accompanied by a heartfelt caption. She wrote, “How was your honeymoon?’ I love you @nupur_popeye. One month, 4 years, underwater, at 3 am, upside down, in a squat, anti-climatic, highly-climatic… doesn’t matter. As long as it’s with you.”
Following their grand wedding in Udaipur, Ira and Nupur returned to Mumbai for their wedding reception on January 13. The reception, held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), saw Aamir posing with his entire family, including the newlywed couple, his son Junaid Khan, first wife Reena Dutta, son Azad Rao Khan, and Nupur’s family.
Ira has been actively sharing moments from her wedding. Earlier, she posted a heartwarming picture with father Aamir Khan. In the post, she revealed that Aamir had mehendi done to match her tattoo of the sun, star, and moon. Ira expressed gratitude for not getting a turtle tattoo earlier, as she recently got a matching one with Nupur during their honeymoon. “Thank god I hadn’t gotten the turtles yet!! We’re such cuties,” she wrote.
Nupur is a mental health advocate, while Nupur is a fitness trainer.
