Bollywood couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan opted for a low-key and intimate Eid celebration with family at their residence in Mumbai. Saif’s sister, Saba Pataudi, took to Instagram to share inside photos from their Eid festivities. While Taimur posed with the family, Kareena and Saif’s younger son Jeh Ali Khan, as well as Saif’s children – Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan – from his first marriage, were absent from the celebration.
In the snapshots from the Eid gathering, Saif and Kareena exuded elegance, with the Jab We Met actor donning a green and pink kurta pyjama set, while Saif looked suave in a blue kurta paired with white pyjamas. Taimur twinned with his father in a matching blue kurta and pyjama ensemble. Saba shared the photos along with an emotional note dedicated to her family. It read, “EiD Mubarak!! Family always ❤️ matters! Beautiful moments… missed Jehjaan Inni and the older kids n Kunal too… Soon inshallah. Lots of love Bhabijaan Bhai Soha n Tim Baba… Eid with family is ALWAYS SPECIAL! #eidulfitr #eidmubarak.”
Earlier in the day, Kareena Kapoor shared a photo of a bowl of seviyan and extended Eid greetings to her fans, writing, “This bowl is mine. Eid Mubarak friends.” Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan shared a photo of herself and conveyed her Eid wishes to her followers.
On the professional front, Kareena is currently relishing the success of her latest film Crew, co-starring Tabu and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The film has amassed Rs 64.67 crore within 14 days of its release. As for Saif, his latest appearance was in the Prabhas-starrer Adipurush. He is also set to star in Jr NTR’s Devara.
