Everyone loves a good love story, and fans scour the internet for details about how their favourite celebrities first met and how they fell in love. For actors Aly Goni and Jasmine Bhasin, no one needs to research a lot, as their story took place in front of the whole world on shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss. The couple have been together since 2020, and they recently invited director/producer Farah Khan to their lovely home in Mumbai to do some cooking with Dilip and to talk about the space they have created for themselves.
Dilip, who was carrying a pressure cooker filled with pulao, had no idea whose house he was visiting, and upon seeing the king card hanging outside the couple’s house, he said, “Ma’am, ham Shah Rukh Khan sir ke ghar jaa rahe hai kya? Baadshah laga hua hai’ (Are we going to Shah Rukh’s house? There is a king card hanging outside. Farah scoffed at the suggestion, and just then Jasmine opened the door, and Farah and Dilip were welcomed inside by the couple and their 2 dogs. Farah told the couple about what she had brought with her and told them to quickly show their house to her. She first went into the balcony but quickly came out and asked to see Jasmine’s room.
“You know I can see a lot of you in this house, Jasmine, because Aly choosing a salmon pink sofa isn’t happening,” said Farah. Jasmine first took Farah to her walk-in closet, which the actor explained was initially a separate room. “So this was originally a six-bedroom house, and we converted two small rooms into walk-in closets,” said Jasmine. Farah replied, “Uska bhi hai na closet? Mujhe laga bechara Aly (He also has a closet, right? I thought poor Aly didn’t have one. Jasmine explained that during construction her closet could still have been ignored, but not Aly’s, and then showed Farah her room that was filled with salmon pink and green colours. Farah said, “You could be a full interior designer, Jasmine; this is very beautiful. Look at all these bags; people should have a collection like you. I can see the Dior bag sitting in the corner, and that too is customised.”
Aly then explained to Farah that they broke the wall between two separate flats to make it one big space. She noticed that the couple had a separate dining table and a coffee table, which Jasmine called “their very own cafe”. They then moved to Aly’s walk-in closet, filled with designer jackets, hats, shirts, and t-shirts. Farah looked at the whole thing and said, “I thought only my son’s closet looked like this. For god’s sake, look at this godown (warehouse) Aly has built for himself. is definitely all Aly,” to which the couple agreed.
“How do you even find anything in this place?” to which Aly replied, “I have a place for everything; printed shirts go on a separate shelf, and plain shirts go on a different one.” Farah looked at the movie and music posters hanging on the wall and said, “This
