Omkar Kapoor, the child actor from the 90s impressed one and all with his performance in this year’s sleeper hit, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. While praises have been pouring in,Omkar is still eagerly waiting for Salman Khan to watch the film.
“Salman sir hasn’t seen the film. He will hopefully see it soon. I have asked him to see it. I have asked him when I could show it to him. But he has been busy with Bigg Boss and his other prior commitments,” said Omkar.
Omkar, who played young Salman in Judwaa, knows the Khan family well as his elder brother was Salman’s business manager for close to eight years. Thanking Salman for his blessings, Omkar said: “Salman sir is like family to me. I have his blessings and I am sure he will watch it when he can. And I am sure he will like it too.”
Expressing delight at the film’s success at the box office, Omkar said,”To be honest, we expected it to do very well. And being newcomers, every small profit is like bonanza to us.”
Omkar also modestly admitted that post the release his female fan base has surged to high levels. From clicking to selfies to asking for autographs, Omkar has been seeing the nice side of fame. Sharing his happy feeling, Omkar said: “It’s a great feeling for any young guy. But that is not the end of the world or achievement for me. I am much more than that. I have a long way to go.”
