Actor Gauahar Khan, who is observing the holy month of Ramzan, recently took to her social media platform to slam American pop singer Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber’s comments on fasting and said that they should “get an education.”
Taking to her Instagram story, Gauahar shared the video clip and wrote, “Just proves how dumb they are. Only if they knew about the science behind it. And the health benefits from it! Get an education @Justinbieber and @haileybieber. Its okay to have an opinion btw! But be intelligent enough to put forth correctly.”
Gauahar’s comments come in the light of a video of Justin and Hailey making rounds on the internet, where the couple is seen discussing the aspect of fasting. Justin can be heard saying, “I gotta really think about that, I have never really done it…I think our bodies need nutrition to think properly.”
Adding to what Justin had to say, Hailey said, “Fasting off food never really made sense to me. if you want fast off the TV, fast off your phone, I think I believe in that more, but fasting off food… it never really made sense to me… or if you are fasting sweets or fasting sugar.”
Gauahar has been posting about how she and her husband Zaid Darbar are fasting during Ramzaan and it is a special time for them as they prepare to embrace parenthood soon.
