Farah Khan’s cook Dilip went on a trip to his village near Darbangha, Bihar, to attend the wedding of his niece. Farah couldn’t attend herself, but sent her blessings in the form of a large standee of herself, which was actually placed next to the couple during the wedding rituals. But before the festivities began, Dilip gave viewers a tour of his under-construction bungalow, and introduced them to his children. He said that Farah has arranged for the kids to attend an English-medium school, as he asked one of them to recite the alphabet for the camera.
Taking audiences around his house, Dilip said that the work is still unfinished. He showed his room, his childrens’ room, and the terrace, where grains from his farm were laid out in the sun. Dilip said that he has temporarily put fabric on the windows to block the light and the wind, and that the construction will soon end. “Please subscribe, because I still need to make a swimming pool,” he joked.

Meanwhile, Farah stayed behind in Mumbai and planned a surprise for him. She said that she’s having the entire kitchen redone in his absence. Dilip interacted with his parents and family members, and attended his niece’s wedding. Dilip spoke about Farah constantly, even when he was supervising the cooking. “She likes potatoes so much, she would’ve loved the bhaji we’ve made,” he said. Dilip being addressed as ‘sir’ by the workers also prompted the editor of the vlog to insert a cutout of Farah making a sarcastic comment.
This isn’t the first time that Dilip has taken viewers on a trip to his village. But when he previously showed his house, it was in the earliest stages of construction. In another vlog, Farah told the guest, Karan Wahi, about Dilip’s fame and fortune. “Dilip too has a three-storey bungalow in Bihar. It has six bedrooms in it,” she said. Farah’s career as a YouTuber has taken off in recent months, with her channel gaining 1.7 million subscribers.
