The city of dreams had larger-than-life guests— and it accommodated them very well. International celebrities Zendaya, Tom Holland and Gigi Hadid, who were in Mumbai for the grand opening of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre last weekend, had a specially curated itinerary for their visit to the city.

Zendaya and Tom wanted time by themselves, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, so the couple opted for a yacht ride on the Arabian Sea along the coastline of Mumbai while Gigi Hadid took on a more quintessential city tour— going to Gateway of India, walking around Kala Ghoda, and feeling the vibe of the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, reported Conde Nast Traveller.

According to the report, No Footprints, the boutique travel experience company designed the tour for the trio. Co-founder Harshvardhan Tanwar said there were conversations going on for more than a month about about the guests landing to the city but there was a catch.

“We had no idea who the guests were, all we had was some basic information about the profiles even about 48 hours before the tour. For an A-lister, NFP tries to make the tour as seamless as possible with security and protection that does not come in the way. “We want them to be safe, while still being able to enjoy India in its full capacity!” the report quoted. When they arrived in the city, Tom Holland and Zendaya went on a yacht ride in the tour that explored Mumbai with “the sea as its hero.”

“They wanted a little time to themselves, so we took them away from the urban chaos, to experience the city differently. They were quite interested in understanding the stories of the place and took quite a few pictures. They came back out to the Gateway of India, where we spoke about the architectural marvel’s long-standing legacy before heading to Oberoi, where they were staying,” the travel experience company was quoted as saying. The Hollywood couple also learnt about the CSMVS Museum, the Taj Mahal hotel and Marine Drive.

Gigi started her tour with the Gateway of India, walked around Kala Ghoda and landed up at CST, where the supermodel did a mannequin challenge— standing as the crowd passed her by, which the team then turned it into a beautiful time lapse. “Gigi kept talking about how similar Mumbai was to New York, she loved the energy of the city, it reminded her of home,” the report added.
